At A1 Healthcare Solutions, we believe every NDIS participant deserves a day program that actually works for them. Our centre is purpose-built to support participants with sensory processing needs, communication goals, social development, and daily living skills — all in one place, close to home.
We run two streams — a Youth Program for participants under 18, and an Adult Program for participants 18 and over — each with age-appropriate activities, structured routines, and consistent support.
Our Coolaroo centre is thoughtfully designed to support participants with a wide range of needs. Every room has a purpose.

Whether you’re supporting a young person building school readiness-style skills, or an adult working toward greater independence and community participation — we have a structured program to match.
👦 Youth Stream (Under 18)

A1 Healthcare Solutions Day Centre is conveniently located in Coolaroo, making it easily accessible for participants and families across Melbourne’s northern suburbs, including Craigieburn, Broadmeadows, Coolaroo, Meadow Heights, Dallas, Westmeadows, and surrounding areas.
Short Term Respite gives carers a well-deserved break while empowering participants to grow, learn new skills, and enjoy the freedom of a supportive, independent space.

Session 1 runs from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, offering a full structured day of activities across all rooms and zones. Session 2 runs from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, providing an afternoon and evening option for participants who need flexibility or an after-school program.
Each session follows a predictable routine with clear transitions, choice blocks, and sensory regulation check-ins — designed to help participants feel safe, engaged and in control of their day.

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides funding for respite care and short-term accommodation services through the Core Supports category. Participants with approved NDIS plans may have dedicated funding allocated for these services. We collaborate closely with our clients to ensure they comprehend their funding and its utilisation to access our respite and short-term accommodation services. Our comprehensive offerings encompass daily food and activities budgets, accommodation, up to 24 hours of support, and travel assistance.

Respite care and short-term accommodation services offer temporary relief for caregivers and support networks, enabling them to take a break while ensuring quality care for individuals with disabilities. The main distinction between the two lies in their purpose and duration. Respite care typically provides short-term support for a few hours up to a few days, while short-term accommodation involves longer stays ranging from several days to weeks. We offer both respite care and short-term accommodation services, ensuring that our clients receive personalised care and support tailored to their unique needs.
